About Renkum Stud Farm

Renkum Stud relocated from Lindfield, Sussex to Castlemorton, Worcestershire during 2015 in order to expand the stud. Better facilities, much more land and close to eight show centres which will help us to produce and market our young show jumpers in the future.

Both children are riding and helping after school hours and have been winning many prizes locally.  Hendrik is now on horses and Meredith is building up her own string of 13.2 and soon 14.2 homebreds.

Renkum Stud has so far produced 7 International horses and we feel now that we will be able to produce more and more International prospects at regular intervals. Our broodmares are second to none as a herd, all daughters or grand daughters of top international mares by stallions that have proved themselves at top level. We are very proud to still have some ‘Golden Oldies’ alive and breeding: Wiston Bridget, La Fleur des Collines, Egalisca de Ruiere and Lady Fee, together they are 95 years old and still going strong!

Of course we still have the Daughters of Pebble Beach, Cordula, Inish MacNevin, Ferrari, Liana and Dorinda as they have proved to be able to breed top horses and approved stallions too.

Renkum Stud made big progress with the purchase of Renkum Valentino and being in-bred to the unsurpassable Marco Polo and breeding just like him he became a major force where athleticism, courage and ‘Blood’ was concerned. He gave us the foundation for the stallions that we owned after him; U Grand Jete (Galoubet A), Give Me Remus (Grannus), Lauriston (Latus I ), Irco Miro Gii (Irco Mena),  Irco Balou Gii and Baloubet Junior Z currently.

Valentino’s son Renkum Off-Centre out of the double 5* Grand Prix winner Pebble Beach also proved himself to be a fantastic sire and the line continues through his son R. Offender to our promising young stallions Renkum O’Jete and Renkum Overdrive.  Irco Balou has more  Grand Prix horses in his pedigree than any other Stallion in Europe ( in the first 3 or 4 generations) and with his scope and athleticism he should do very well when crossed with the daughters of Baloubet Junior Z.

All of our stock are bred for temperament, willingness and ability to perform at the top level without being stressed or pushed.

We also have a small number of fantastic pure bred welsh ponies and part-breds, bred along the same way.
